Our Story

Like so many current Lake of the Ozarks residents, the Stocktons spent most of their summers vacationing around the lake area. While enjoying the many natural wonders, beauty and enjoyable features the Lake of the Ozarks has to offer, the Stockton family fell in love with not only the area but the distinctly American version of vacation that Lake of the Ozarks provides. What better way to spend your career and to make your living, while living and working in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, than in the most fulfilling career of all--the restaurant industry.

While spending in excess of 20 years in virtually every aspect of the hospitality industry, Doug Stockton set his goals on eventually calling his place of employment his very own. Five years later and after hundreds of hours of market research and planning, the decision to act was imminent. The location was easy: the family’s favorite vacation destination and the new home of his parents- Lake of the Ozarks. Here, they began their new lives catering to the transient tourist traffic, from the many bus groups and tours to rehearsal dinners and banquets to the beautiful and special people that call Lake of the Ozarks home!
